AirPort Utility app good for
I just installed a new replacement modem from Telus. My wireless seemed to work great but my airport extreme continued to have a flashing yellow light while my airport express was steady green and fine. This app showed the same fault and quickly resolved the problem as a double NAT conflict (what ever that is!) Changed the Nat settings as recommended by the app and all systems green! Easy
No digging through device numbers and setup jargon!
I would like to be able to turn off the internet connection remotely with my iPhone or put a timer o
n it. We need to be able to control late night internet use by teens.
I am sure this is an easy update to this ap. Thanks!
AirPort Utility is easy to use, and is capable of serving pros too.
Worked great. Updated my airport firmware right from my iPad Air. Nice!
I dont know what there are so many bad reviews but I think AirPort Utility works as its supposed to.
Theres a reason that Apple products just work: they design the hardware and the software together. This app is incredibly easy and intuitive to use and to set up your AirPort Time Capsule, Extreme, or Express.
Managing your network is even easier. All router manufacturers should take note and use this app as the golden standard for network management apps. Great app for great networking products. Thanks once again, for an awesome product and iOS management software app, Apple.
Some bad moments
Easy to set up.
It is a real pity that the HDD cannot be accessed from an Ipad or Iphone and used as a backup storage accessible remotely...
Does it make any sense that the Apple AirPort Utility app does NOT support one of Apples AirPorts?
If apple has chosen not to ad a physical WPS button on the airport extreme to connect to printers and buried the menu in the Mac AirPort Utility software, was it too dificult to solve that to in the IOS version????
App only sees Apple gear. Internet providers typically do not supply Apple gear so their modems are invisible....
This app causes my iPhone to not go into standby. Battery drain.
The function is good, but it took me a long time to find out this was the culprit of my poor battery life.
Cant see any of my 4 airport extremes on iOS 8 where my MacMini and MacBook Air can
